Mandate and Objectives

Mandate Area:

North-Eastern region of Amhara (Waghemira zone and four administrative districts from North Wollo)

Mandate Crops:

Livestock: Abergelle goat improvement, Enhancing honey bee production sector

Crop: Pearl-millet, Sorghum, Mung-bean, Sesame, Haricot bean, Wheat, Teff, Field pea, Faba-bean

Research Targets: Technology generation (adaptation and development), source technology multiplication and technology promotion
